Our Family in 2011 :: Judah Abebayehu [07/08] and Addise Aster Tarike [02/10]

It started with just the two of us on a hot, hot day in August 2001. Several years later we were ready to start a family. Through the devastation of infertility and years of loss, God resurrected our dream through a marriage-long desire of African adoption. In August 2010 God brought us Lil' A and Baby T who legally became our children on November 11, 2010.

We brought Judah Abebayehu and Addise Aster Tarike Diaz home for good on January 15, 2011. A new chapter of restoration, healing, and life begins for the Diaz family.

Standing as a family near the bench by the ocean where I prayed monthly for nearly 3 years.

Only 9 months after becoming parents, we found out the unimaginable: we were pregnant! Shocked beyond belief and terrified beyond words we tip-toed and prayed throughout my pregnancy. On April 23, 2012 Asher Zacarias Diaz entered the world 7 weeks early after a traumatic and unexpected weekend. After 3 weeks in the NICU, Asher arrived home on Mother's Day to meet his brother and sister and join our forever family.
