Infertility-Pregnancy Timeline

2007
June - Started "trying" to get pregnant, just like every couple with high hopes and dreams.
Fall - Began seeing some abnormal signs in my body and initiated conversation with my OB/GYN. Quickly ruled out any medical issues with Brian.

2008
January - Diagnosed with polycystic ovarian syndrome (PCOS), and immediately began clomid treatment. Read more about our infertility roller coaster HERE.
August - After 4 completely unsuccessful clomid cycles my OB/GYN said, "I'm sorry. There's nothing else I can do for you. You'll need to see an infertility specialist."
September/October - Connected with an amazing endocrinologist who agreed to treat us. We immediately began combo clomid and intrauterine insemination (IUI) cycles. 1st cycle failed.
November/December - Tried 2nd IUI cycle, which inexplicably failed.

2009
January/February - 3rd and Final IUI treatment
February 15 - Last negative IUI results discovered
March 2 - Surrendered to our dreams of a biological child, believing adoption was God's Plan A for our family. Began the adoption process for an Ethiopian baby girl. Read more HERE.
March - Brian and I also determined that we were to place our fertility in God's hands from this point forward, which meant not to attempt pregnancy prevention, even though we were committed to adoption.

2011
September - 9 months after bringing home Judah and Addise, we somewhat miraculously conceived for the first time ever!
